Ezoo, formerly Electric Zoo, is our longest partner on the JRNY platform and one of the first car subscription companies in the UK. In July of 2021, they launched their service on ezoo.uk using the JRNY platform. The configurable nature of JRNY meant they could position their service precisely, with no compromise.
In Q2 of 2021, Ezoo had a 40-vehicle fleet, and daily operations were difficult to manage because their primary sales channel was not through their website but from 3rd party service providers. The providers were making the visibility of Ezoo's fleet, customers and bookings impossible as they couldn't integrate the two. To fix this, they needed to own the customer journey by making their website,www.ezoo.uk, the primary sales channel and creating a single source of customer and booking data.
In July of 2021, they launched their service using the JRNY platform. The configurable nature of JRNY meant they could position their service precisely as needed, with no compromise, which included an AI-enabled ID verification, credit check facilities and repeat payments. A new customer can sign up in less than 3 minutes, and an operations team member can process their booking from request to delivery in less than 8 minutes.

One of the pivotal aspects of Ezoo's growth was the conversion rate edge provided by the JRNY platform. On average, the platform has converted 0.9% of web traffic into bookings. Over double the average for car dealerships at 0.4%, which only refers to website enquiries and not the complete online transaction.
Ezoo opted for an entirely online sales model and no physical showroom, their digital channel needed to be configured to their exact specifications and with room to develop further as they learnt more about digital car subscriptions.
The customer-facing half of the platform, JRNY Demand, sends all customer and booking data to the operations portal JRNY Ops. Ops enables Ezoo to perform all the necessary KYC checks at a glance, trigger payments, arrange delivery, and update the online inventory. The platform significantly improved their operation which became convoluted and tedious once their fleet grew.
